PRODUCER BACKGROUND:
Producer/Singer/ songwriter/ music arranger, Gunther Alexander is one of South Africa's up and coming independent artists and music producers. His involvement in every aspect of the song creation and production process has created a niche recognition of his rare musical gift. Under the influence of electronic pop artists such as Depeche mode and other 80s bands a strong interest in synths and the art of keyboard programming emerged as Gunther at age 15 began arranging his own songs using self taught piano skills and his Korg M1. His intuitive sense of musical arrangement, structure and melody quickly lead to a pursuit of musical excellence and a steady career path in music...
15 years on.. several piano lessons later.. and a few more synths...Gunther now runs a fully equipped project studio where he produces, arranges, records and co-writes music for independent artists under his own micro label "Introspective Music". As an independent artist himself Gunther also actively records and promotes his own music for which he has received awards and achieved several number one songs. Gunther is currently producing albums for various independent artists as well as working steadily on his 2cnd album.
